The wheat was reportedly acquired from CHS, a trading house, at an estimated cost of $267.60 per ton (cost and freight, c&f) for shipment scheduled in the second half of March.

Future Tender Plans:

Traders indicated that Jordan is likely to issue a new tender shortly to procure 120,000 tons of wheat. Offers for this upcoming tender are expected to be submitted by January 21, with shipments planned for April and May.
Additional Tender:

In a separate initiative, Jordan is also seeking to purchase 120,000 tons of animal feed barley, with the tender closing on Wednesday.
