Kazakhstan’s pipeline operator, Kaztransoil, announced on Tuesday that oil supplies to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline will be slightly raised to 135,000 metric tons (approximately 32,000 barrels per day) this month, up from the initially planned 130,000 tons.
Key Highlights:
Easing Supply Concerns:
Recent reports indicate that the Druzhba pipeline, which transports Russian and Kazakh oil to Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Germany, has resumed operations after technical issues at a Russian pumping station temporarily halted flows last Thursday.
December Supply Details:
The increased December supplies will add to the 1.358 million tons already delivered earlier this year.
Additional Exports:
Kazakhstan is also set to export 122,000 tons of oil through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline to Turkey this month, supplementing the 1.342 million tons shipped from January to November.
