Shell has named Greg Joiner as the new head of its Shell Energy unit, responsible for overseeing renewable generation, gas, and power marketing, as part of a broader reorganization within the trading division. Joiner’s appointment comes following the departure of long-time executive Steve Hill and is set to commence on April 1. The reshuffle also includes Tom Summers retaining leadership of Shell’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) trading business, while David Wells continues to oversee power, gas, and environmental products trading.
